Just inaugurated the BARDOT GALLERY in front of the Brigitte sculpture is a huge space having a bar and café with little tables on the sidewalk and a breathtaking view of the huge cruises, inside many little stores are spread by this big loft opened all night long.

Palácio Quitandinha, RJ! O glamour da nossa era dos cassinos! (Quitandinha Palace, RJ! The Brazilian casino glamor age!).

O magnífico Palácio Quitandinha na bela região serrana de Petrópolis, RJ, foi construído em 1944 para ser o maior Hotel Cassino da América Latina, mas 2 anos depois teve o seu glamour de cassino interrompido quando os jogos de azar foram proibidos no Brasil, este é o único palácio reconhecido no país e foi palco de famosos da época como "A Pequena Notável" Carmen Miranda (1909-1955).

The magnificent Quitandinha Palace, Petrópolis, was built in 1944 to be the largest Latin America Casino Hotel, but 2 years later its glamor was interrupted by the Brazilian government  forbidden gambles law, it still the only recognized palace in the country, and in that time was stage for famous artists as the "Brazilian Bombshell" Carmen Miranda (1909-1955).

In the Aracatu Farm  the Jersey cows on its fields producing more fuller cheeses because of the milk proteins quality, all of them are handcrafted, there you can taste  different types of cheeses as half-curd, with paprika olive oil, a white so creamy that it's possible to cut with a spoon, dried curd and others, which is impossible don't bring some home, also milk sweet, homemade jams, breads and assorted cakes, the ones made by "pinhão", pinion, traditional nut in Cunha which has the Festa do Pinhão party in April, is an obligation to taste, everything there are prepared on a wood burning stove, so  perfect with a little coffee or capuccino, the handcrafted ice cream is delicious, I suggested the milk sweet of course, good wines, non-produced there, for pairing with the cheeses, so a beautiful farm with cosy spaces, and hammocks to rest after eating, and forget diets.

Disney, Flórida! Diversão certa em apenas um dia! (Disney, Florida! Right fun in just one day!).

Flórida com sua Orlando numa área metropolitana em crescimento de  mais 2 milhões de habitantes têm muitas atrações  como já postei aqui no blog, mas a sua atração maior e a principal razão para visitá-la, obviamente é para encontrar os mundialmente famosos Mickey Mouse, Harry Potter e outros, os ilustres  moradores da Disney, pois Orlando é a Cidade Temática Capital do Mundo pela sua abundância nos seus parques de muitas emoções com as incomparáveis montanhas russas clássicas ou virtuais, um dos destino mais sonhados e visitados pelos brasileiros com crianças ou não, pois é lá que entramos no mundo mágico do genial Walt Disney (1901-1966), mas não é um passeio barato, pois os parques são caros e tudo que é colocado na nossa frente a peso de dólar nos dá vontade de comprar ou trazer como souvenirs, mas se chegou em Miami alugue um carro e passe pelo menos 1 dia na tão sonhada Disney.

1. COMO CHEGAR:
Em Miami alugue um carro e pegue a I95N ou a A1 e dirija por 4 horas passando pelas belas praias da costa.

2. ONDE FICAR:
Com hotéis para todos os gostos e bolsos, escolha ficar na badalada Internacional Drive, onde estão os restaurantes e o amado Premium Outlets, o QUALITY INN hotel têm preço bacana com estacionamento incluído, mas o café da manhã é quase sempre a parte.

3. MELHOR ÉPOCA:
No outono americano a partir de setembro,, pois a cidade é muito quente para enfrentar as longas filas e circular pelos  parques, então muita água, roupa e sapatos confortáveis e evite bolsas grandes, pois não pode levar nas montanhas russas e os armários cofres gratuitos são pequenos.

4. MELHORES DIAS NO PARQUE:
Os dias que os parques fecham mais tarde, normalmente sexta e sábado (sempre verifique os horários pois poderá haver mudanças), para 1 dia os melhores são  a UNIVERSAL STUDIOS até às 20h, e o MAGIC KINGDOM até às 23h fechando com chave de ouro o imperdível e maravilhoso desfile.

5. UNIVERSAL STUDIOS:
6000 Universal Blvd., onde você vai se sentir estrela nas montanhas russas do seus filmes favoritos como os clássicos E.T. Adventure, a montanha russa que vai te levar por uma emocionante jornada junto ao famoso personagem de  Spielberg, lançada em 1990; Revenge of the Mummy, baseado nos filmes da Múmia, esta com fortes emoções  no escuro, inaugurada em 1985; a RIP RIDE ROCKIT, a montanha russa que você escolhe a sua trilha sonora, sugiro a 'I Will Survive' da Gloria Gaynor, inaugurada em 2009; a virtual e imperdível a hilária montanha russa virtual da família Simpsons; a recém inaugurada neste ano a Hagrid's Magical Creatures na Wizarding World of Harry Potter, e muitas outras atrações sem ser montanha russa, pois só de entrar neste mundo mágico, tudo vale a pena.

MAGIC KINGDOM, é o reino encantado com mais de 40 atrações como o "It's a Small World" onde você dá a volta ao mundo a bordo de um barquinho ouvindo uma música muito conhecida cantada por charmosos bonecos, inaugurada em 1971, e encerrando com chave de ouro o grande desfile homenageando os imortais personagens que fizeram parte da nossa infância, como num toque de mágica se materializam Mickey, Minnie, Pateta, Pluto, Branca de Neve, Peter Pan, Pinóquio, Aladim e outros para celebrar o Dream Come True Parade in the Magic Kingdom, é um dos desfiles mais lindos que eu já vi, e duvido não se emocionar encerrando este dia inesquecível.

Orlando in Florida is a thriving metropolitan area of more than 2 million people, but your main reason to visit this city for sure is to meet some of its world-famous residents, like Mickey Mouse and Harry Potter, because this city is known as the Theme Park Capital of the World for it's abundance of thrilling parks with its incomparable roller coasters, and there we enter in the Walt Disney (1901-1966) magic world, and if you are in Miami rent a car and spend at least 1 day in the wonderful Disney.
