2. O QUE FAZER:
Vá para a Bourbon Street, a rua mais famosa do French Quarter, para seguir as originais bandas de jazz que vêm em blocos distribuindo os coloridos colares de contas, aceite o seu e já  entre no ritmo. Ao anoitecer as variadas casas noturnas abertas dão as boas-vindas, com seus shows gratuitos. Entre na maioria possivel só pagando pelo que consumir, e descubra que esta cidade vai muito além do jazz.

2. O QUE VER:
- CATEDRAL DE SÃO LUIZ. Localizada na praça Jackson Square, é uma das mais antigas catedrais dos Estados Unidos, construída originalmente em estilo espanhol em 1727 com muitos murais pintados no seu interior.
- MERCADO FRANCÊS. Também localizado na Jackson Square, onde é impossível não ser atraído pelas cores vibrantes dos souvenirs misturados aos tons das frutas, verduras e comidas, neste antigo e belo mercado fundado em 1791.

3. MARDI GRAS:
Considerado um dos maiores carnavais do mundo, quando a cidade entra em ebulição com milhares de turistas chegando para uma semana de festejos. Se fantasie para fazer parte do próximo carnaval de Mardi Gras em 13 de fevereiro de 2018, com muitos desfiles já começando em janeiro, mas os melhores desfilam entre 9 e 13 de fevereiro. A festa só termina na  Terça Gorda ("Fat Tuesday" como por lá é conhecida), antes da Quarta-feira de Cinzas.

4. CULINÁRIA CAJUN:
Com muitas opções de restaurantes, se quiser experimentar a culinária Cajun da Louisiana,  comece com o prato mais marcante, GUMBO (pronuncie Gambo), que é um ensopado com vários tipos de carnes,   engrossado com quiabo e apimentado, ou vá de JAMBALAYA, camarão com molho picante.

1. WHERE TO STAY:
LE MARAIS HOTEL (717 Conti St). Cozy with a fantastic location in the heart of the French Quarter, the oldest quarter of New Orleans with 13 blocks from  Canal St to Esplanada Ave, is the best place to stay, even on a walking distance to Bourbon St., yet the hotel area is  pretty quite.

2. WHAT TO DO:
Go to the famous BOURBON ST anytime to follow the nice street Jazz Bands, accepting the colorful beads necklace given on the street. At night the opened night clubs welcoming you to the free awesome different shows. Go inside to enjoy as many as you can, paying for what your consume only.

3. WHAT TO SEE:
- SAINT LOUIS CATHEDRAL. Located in the Jackson Square, is one of the oldest cathedral in the United States, originally built in 1727, in a Spanish style with many paintings in its interior.
- FRENCH MARKET. Located also in the Jackson Square, where it's impossible don't be attracted with the souvenirs vibrant colors mixed with the fruits,  vegetables and food, inside that old beautiful market, built in 1791.

3. MARDI GRAS:
Considered one of the biggest Carnivals in the world, when millions of tourists arriving to the  one week festive  celebration throughout the whole city. Get a costume to be part of the next Mardi Gras on February 13, 2018, with many parades starting in  January, but the best ones will be on February  (9 -13). Fat Tuesday is the last day of the Carnival season the day before Ash Wednesday.

4. CAJUN FOOD Culinary:
If you wanna try the Louisiana Cajun culinary, start with GUMBO a famous spiced stew of meats mixed with okra vegetable to ticken the sauce, but if you are shrimps lover,  JAMBALAYA is a  perfect order with shrimps in a spiced sauce. Be careful with the Cajun Food hot-tasting, if you aren't fan of peppers.
