Para quem curte um friozinho, agora é a época certa para visitar Curitiba a linda capital do Paraná, com 2 milhões de habitantes e muitos atrativos gastronômicos e culturais. Fundada em 1721 com este nome  que na linguagem Guarani significa "grande quantidade de pinheiros",  em alusão as muitas araucárias que enfeitam a região, daonde vêm o  delicioso pinhão, típico alimento da estação de inverno do sul do Brasil.

1. ONDE FICAR:

No centro têm o TEATRO GUAÍRA famoso por suas apresentações. Vá até o PARQUE TINGUÍ / MEMORIAL UCRANIANO, inaugurado em 1995, para conhecer a história e costumes deste país, podendo até se adornar com seus  coloridos acessórios tipicos.

3. ONDE COMER:
É uma cidade que dispõe de bons restaurantes, mas a excelente gastronomia italiana reside à 7km do centro, na famosa SANTA FELICIDADE, desde 1878, com dezenas de cantinas, vinícolas e muitas lojas com artesanato local, e no imenso RESTAURANTE MADALOSSO, na agitada Av. Manoel Ribas, vá com fome para dar conta dos muitos "sem parar" rodízio de massas, onde fica impossível fazer dieta.

If you enjoy cold temperatures, now is a good time to visit Curitiba, the beautiful capital of Paraná state in the south of Brazil, with 2 millions inhabitants and lots of gastronomic and cultural attractives. Founded in 1721, with a name meaning "lots of araucaria pine trees" in South-American Guarany language, because of the many araucarias trees adorning its city, and from those trees come the delicious "pinhão" a tipical fruit seed of the winter season in the south of Brazil.
Take a note of the following tips, and be surprised with this enchanted city:

1. WHERE TO STAY:
IBIS HOTEL CURITIBA SHOPPING, located in the city's downtown is a good choice with 2 excellent breakfast in different hours, and parking lot not included in the hotel's rate.

2. WHAT TO DO:
Just strolling on the city, and you'll find many things to do, but don't miss to walk on the  BOTANICAL GARDEN (Jardim Botânico), the city's postcard with amazing geometrical gardens, several spread sculptures, and a metal and glass stove housing 50 species of plants. Go to the  awesome ÓPERA DE ARAME theatre built on a lake's surface. The contemporary art in the OSCAR NIEMEYER MUSEUM knows as Eye Museum because of the building's shape worth a visit. In downtown you'll find the GUAÍRA THEATRE famous for its presentations. In TINGUÍ PARK / UKRAINIAN MEMORIAL, inaugurated in 1995, you will learn  more about the tradition and culture of this country. and there also you  can adorn yourself with their colorful tipical accessories.

3. WHERE TO EAT:
The city houses good restaurants, but the excellent Italian gastronomy is located 7km far from downtown, in the famous SANTA FELICIDADE place, since 1878, with many Italian's canteens like the huge MADALOSSO serving the non-stopping all-you-can-eat pastas, where is impossible to do a diet.
There are also many local craft stores and winerys for the wine lovers.

4. TIP:
