A aconchegante e linda cidade de Victoria capital da Colúmbia Britânica, com 85.000 habitantes, foi fundada em 1867. Se estiver em Vancouver não deixe de fazer até em 1 dia este passeio imperdível e barato.
Pegue essas dicas e embarque no barco da Swartz Bay para  aproveitar este encanto de cidade:

1. PEGANDO O BARCO:
Ao invés de usar as agências de turismo que cobram uma fortuna para esta travessia, faça por conta própria, é fácil e bem mais barato.Em Vancouver veja a estação do Skytrain que esteja mais próxima do seu hotel, pegue este trem, uma espécie de metrô que custa 4,00CAD (trem mais o ônibus), se comprar na máquina, e desembarque na estação Bridgeport para pegar o ônibus que vai te deixar em frente à estação de barco BC Ferry, onde vai comprar a passagem para o "ferry boat", que só pode ser na hora do embarque, custa 16,70CAD e demora 1:30h até Victoria, saindo de hora em hora, o primeiro sai às 6h, numa travessia bacana em barco grande de 3 andares para 470 passageiros, com loja, restaurante e café. Chegando em Victoria, na frente da estação do BC Ferry de lá, pegue o ônibus 70 que é rápido ou o 72 mais demorado, custa 2,50CAD que é pago no ônibus somente em valor exato com moeda ou cédula, que vai te deixar no centro da cidade na Douglas Street. Fique atento ao desembarque e se informe sobre os horários, pois vai ser no mesmo lugar no lado oposto claro, para fazer o mesmo trajeto da volta e pegar o barco até o BC Ferry de Vancouver para comprar as passagens de ônibus na máquina até Bridgeport e depois Skytrain até a estação mais próxima do seu hotel. Não têm como errar, mas na dúvida peça ajuda, quase todos os passageiros e muitos turistas estão indo para o mesmo lugar.

2. O QUE FAZER:
No centro circule pela BASTION SQUARE na orla bacana do porto, passando pela  GOVERNMENT HOUSE, indo até o museu ROYAL BC MUSEUM que está exibindo "Egypt the Time of Pharaohs" até 31/12/18, ou assista um dos ótimos filmes 4D de hora em hora, numa tela gigante de 6 andares no NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC IMAX THEATRE, que fica dentro deste museu.

3. ONDE COMER:
Próximo a orla têm restaurantes bacanas, como o NAUTICAL NELLIE'S, 1001 Wharf Street, servindo carne e frutos do mar, e também a ótima pizzaria italiana FIAMO, 515 Yates Street, que fecha às 2h da madrugada, para quem resolver pernoitar.

The beautiful and cozy city of Victoria with 85.000 inhabitants was founded in 1867. If you are in Vancouver spend at least one day to make this unmissable and inexpensive tour by boat, visiting the capital of the British Columbia.
Take those tips and board on the Swartz Bay boat to enjoy this enchanted place:

1. TAKING THE BOAT:
Instead of using an agency which charges  lots of money, do it by yourself which is easy and cheap. In the nearest of your hotel Skytrain station in Vancouver take this train, (similar to a subway costing 4,00 CAD if you buying at the machine the train+bus tickets) getting off in the Bridgeport station to take the bus to the BC Ferry, and there buy the boat ticket (16,70CAD, leaving hourly) only in the BC Ferry booth, they don't sell it in advance, boarding on a big nice boat, 1:30 minutes trip and 470 passengers capacity, with store and restaurant. Arriving in Victoria take the 70 express bus or the 72 bus taking a little longer, paying 2,50CAD only in the bus with the exactly amount which will leave  you in downtown's city at Douglas Street. Pay attention to the bus and boat schedules, and do the same procedure to come back to Vancouver.

2. WHAT TO DO IN VICTORIA:
Strolling on downtown in the harbour of the BASTION SQUARE,  passing by the GOVERNMENT HOUSE, go to the ROYAL BC MUSEUM now until Dec 31st, 2018 in exhibition "Egypt the Time of Pharaohs", or also inside the museum whatch in the NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC IMAX THEATRE, a six-storey-tall 4D screen, one of the different movies showing hourly.

3. WHERE TO EAT: Near to the BASTION SQUARE, you'll find lots of good restaurants like the NAUTICAL NELLIE'S, 1001 Wharf Street, serving seafoods and meat, and also the excellent FIAMO PIZZARIA, 515 Yates Street opened till 2am, just in case if you decided to stay a little longer in the city.
