Duje com o mausoléu do Imperador Dioclesiano, o Museu da Cidade de Split, a Igreja Nossa Senhora do Sino da Torre, e o Relógio Municipal, entre os outros monumentos.

4. O QUE FAZER:
Ande pela bela orla da Riva Promenade com saída pelo Palácio Dioclesiano com muitos hotéis, bons restaurantes e belos bares avistando o mar; ou faça passeios de 1 dia pelas ilhas, de ferry até BRAC e SOLTA leva 45 minutos, para HVAR é como um mini cruzeiro de 2 horas ou 1 hora de catamarã, para os amantes de aventuras têm kayake, bike e trilhas para caminhadas, e os tours mais populares de 1 dia são a CAVERNA AZUL e o PARQUE NACIONAL KRKA.

Take a note of these tips to enjoy the second largest city after the capital Zagreb, which is full of tours in its islands:

1. WHERE TO STAY:
The Split Urban Rooms is simple,  close to downtown and the turistic sights, but no breakfast and parking lot, and is better to park in a paid public parking lot which is a little far from the hotel, and if you are packed heavy, forget it, no elevator to arrive in the rooms downstairs.

2. MONEY CURRENCY:
The money currency in Croatia is Kuna (1€=7,10HRK) and you must have it in hands, because most of the places accept kunas currency only.

3. WHAT TO SEE:
The main attraction is the spectacular  Diocletian's Palace which itself was begun around 298 b.C. and took 10 tears to be finished, typically Roman and rectangular shape has 36 sights to be visited, besides many alleys with restaurants and bars, underground galleries full of stores, and inside the Peristil, a central open courtyard where the Emperor appeared to be worshipped as the son of Jupiter, and if you wanna go back to the past there are featured men of Romans ready to take paid pictures with you, the palace houses 2 main streets, and each main gate is located in the center of each outside wall, inside you'll find the Cathedral Sv. Perca a respiração no passeio imperdível do teleférico, para ver a cidade do alto da montanha de 432 metros, com subida de 3 minutos, saída a cada 10 minutos, os ingressos também podem ser comprados  na estação de saída somente com Kuna ou cartão de crédito, das 9h às 21h; no alto também têm offroad de buggy, e museu contando a história da guerra de 1991 contra Sérvios e Montenegros, o melhor horário para subir é no final da tarde para assistir o magnifico pôr-do-sol, esta montanha têm trilha para subir a pé, num percurso de 40 minutos; outra opção são os diversos passeios de barco para as muitas ilhas; ou a praia local Banje Beach com uma vista bacana da Old City.

1. WHERE TO STAY:

2. MONEY CURRENCY:
Kuna is the money currency in Croatia, change something in the airport because some places only accept this local money, and some accept euros too, lots of money exchange places spread by the city.

4. WHAT TO SEE:
The main attraction is the historical walled Old City with at least 50 spots of ancient   churchs, monuments, monastery, museums, palaces, art galleries, and the magnificent Cathedral keeping underground its foundation from the 7th century, take a map and walking on the unbelievable shining floor, inside the Old City every morning from 7am to 1pm a small fair sells lots of fresh and dry fruits, and local souveniers.

5. WHAT TO DO:
An unmissable tour is to take the CABLE CAR which offers 360 degrees views that will leave you breathless like you have walked 432 meters high Srd Mountain, the ride last 3 minutes and tickets can be bought at the liwer station of the cable car, but they accept only Kunas or credit cards, there are also buggy ride, and a museum telling the story about the 1991 war against the Serbians and Montenegros, the best time to go up is late afternoon to watch the amazing sunset.
Cable cars runs each 10 minutes from 9am to 9pm, this mountain also has paths to go up walking for about 40 minutes; other option is to take one  the several boats tour to visit the many islands; or go to the local Banje Beach with a view over the Old City Walls.

6. WHERE TO EAT:
Quality eating and drinking has always been an icon of the Dubrovnik good living,
for a PIZZA "Mea Culpa" inside the Old City is a perfect destination, for a drink or dinner take a seat in the Café Festival with live music, outside on the entrance of the Old City, MAGNOLIA serves good pastas, and in front of it DUBRAVKA has a breathtaking view, in the land of the Game of Thrones many ice cream shops and one original name like GAME OF CONES.
