1. BLUMENAU:
Com 335.000 habitantes, é a cidade sede da região metropolitana do Vale do Itajaí em Santa Catarina, foi fundada em 1850 pelo químico alemão Hermann Blumenau (1819-1899). Distante 67km do Balneário Camboriú, também é famosa pela sua produção têxtil abrigando marcas como Hering, Malwee e Teka entre outras. Com arquitetura e gastronomia alemã com muitos restaurantes servindo as salsichas acompanhadas do autêntico chucrute. E lá também não deixe de visitar a VILA ITOUPAVA, distante 27km do centro, uma verdadeira vila germânica, aonde até os postes são pintados com as cores da bandeira da Alemanha; e lógico, não poderia faltar o MUSEU DA CERVEJA (XV de Novembro, 160, Centro), na terra das cervejas artesanais Eisebahn, além de conhecer a história, também têm exposição de muitos objetos.

2. PARQUE VILA GERMÂNICA, Av. Alberto Stein, 199, Velha.
É nesta área coberta de 36.000 m2, que a cidade de Blumenau se concentra, aberta o ano inteiro com vários eventos, onde o mais conhecido é a OKTOBERFEST, a maior do Brasil e a segunda maior do mundo, só perdendo para a de Munique na Alemanha, onde durante 19 dias do mês de outubro, muita dança e música distribuidas em 4 palcos, tocando as típicas alemãs misturadas com outras, e os visitantes entram no clima podendo comprar seu modelito de "Fritz e Frida" dentro da vila, nas muitas lojinhas que também vendem os legítimos souvenirs; e esqueça a dieta em um dos ótimos restaurantes dentro da vila, que servem buffet, preço único, com todo o tipo de comida alemã e outras, com variada sobremesa "gratuita", entre elas o divino sagú ao vinho.

With Germans architecture and gastronomy, where many restaurants serve the traditional sausages and "chucrute". Also there visit the ITOUPAVA VILLAGE, a real Germans village, where even the street poles are painted with the Germany flag colors, distant 27km from downtown; and of course don't miss the BEER MUSEUM, in the land of the Eisebahn craft beers, this museum tells and shows its story. Open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays from 10am to 4pm. Free admittance.

2. VILA GERMANICA PARK:
In a covered area of 36.000 square meters, where the Blumenau's city concentrates many events the whole year, especially the most famous OKTOBERFEST, the biggest in Brazil (second bigger in the world, after Munique, Germany), for 19 days in October shows lots of Germans music and dance mixed with others spread by 4 stages, and also inside the village in many stores the visitors can buy the "Fritz and Frida" outfits, and  original souvenirs. Forget your diet, in one of the many excellent restaurants inside the village serving a wonderful buffet of  German food and others, and save room for the many variety of the free desserts, especially the delicious "sagu", a kind of wine cream.
