1. COMO CHEGAR:

O ideal é alugar carro em Brasília para dirigir 140km até Pirenópolis, o caminho mais curto é passando por Águas Lindas, Cocalzinho e Corumbá, onde é impossível não parar no mirante para fotografar o  espetacular Salto Corumbá.

2. ONDE FICAR:

Na região têm muitas pousadas, mas pode ficar em Brasília e fazer um bate e volta de um dia.

3. O QUE FAZER:

Caminhar sem pressa pelas belas ruas e ladeiras calçadas de pedras apreciando as muitas lojinhas com artesanatos e produtos da cozinha local, comece pela Igreja da Matriz construída entre 1728 e 1732, depois pelo Theatro de Pyrenópolis prédio de 1899; a Casa de Câmara e Cadeia réplica original erguida em 1919 e hoje é o Museu do Divino;  Igreja Nossa Senhora do Carmo construída pelos escravos em 1750 com Museu de Arte Sacra;  Cine Pirineus em estilo Artdeco;  Ponte sobre o Rio das Almas onde o botânico e viajante Augustin Saint Hilaire (1779-1857) passou pela Nossa Senhora do Rosário de Meia Ponte como a cidade era chamada em 1819, e se tiver tempo para apreciar a natureza ao redor vá até o Parque Estadual dos Pirineus, distante 20km do centro.

4. ONDE COMER:

Para entrar na gastronomia local pare na feirinha na entrada da cidade para provar o liquor e a castanha "baru" típica do Cerrado, vá até a ótima Rua do Lazer com muitos restaurantes, pare no "Encontro Marcado" com música ao vivo e deliciosa comida servida em panelinhas, muitos cafés espalhados pela cidade como a ótima Confeitaria Vitória.

5. EVENTO:

A Festa do Divino Espirito Santo foi introduzida em Pirenópolis na metade do século XIX, é a festa mais importante da cidade e também Patrimônio Cultural Brasileiro, acontece 50 dias após a Páscoa.

1. HOW TO ARRIVE:

Renting a car in Brasília is the best to drive 140km to Pirenópolis, the short way is passing by Águas Lindas, Cocalzinho and Corumbá where it's impossible don't stop on the lookout to take a picture of the spectacular Salto Corumbá falls.

2. WHERE TO STAY:

There are many bed and breakfast in the region, but you can stay in Brasília making one day tour.

3. WHAT TO DO:

Strolling by the amazing streets and slopes paved with stones browsing the many little stores selling local crafts and food products, begin visiting the Mother Church built between 1728 and 1732;  goes to the Theatro Pyrenópolis a 1899 beauty construction;  Casa de Câmara e Cadeia a 1919 original replica of the house and prison and now a Divino Museum;  Our Lady of Carmo Church built by the slaves in 1750 with Religious Art Museum; the Pirineus Cine in Art Deco style;  crossing the bridge over the Rio das Almas river where the botanical and traveller Augustin Saint Hilaire (1779-1857) passed there in 1819 when the city was named Nossa Senhora do Rosário de Meia Ponte, and if you have spare time to enjoy the nature around go to the Parque Estadual dos Pirineus park, 20km far from the city.

4. WHERE TO EAT:

At the city entrance stop on the street little fair to taste the typical "baru" liquor and nuts, go to the nice Rua do Lazer Street, full of bars and restaurants, have a seat in the Encontro Marcado restaurant serving delicious food in tiny pans and live music, there are many nice and cozy cafes spread by the city like the Confeitaria Vitória bakery.

5. EVENT:

The Festa do Divino was introduced in the 19th century, is the city most important party, and a Brazilian Cultural Heritage, happens 50 days after Easter.
