VERSAILLES:
1. COMO CHEGAR:
Muito fácil, num percurso de 45 minutos distância perfeita para um bate e volta, pegando a linha C (amarela) do trem RER com conexão em algumas estações com o metrô de Paris,  chegando descer na estação Versailles Chateau River Gauche. Dependendo dos seus euros, de táxi ou uber.
2. PALÁCIO:
Lugar encantador onde viveu Luis XIV, (1638-1715) o Rei Sol, construído em 1660 com uma arquitetura luxuosa barroco francesa que junto aos jardins ocupa uma área de 8km2. Em 1837 o Palácio foi transformado em Museu de História da França, e Patrimônio Mundial da Humanidade pela UNESCO desde 1979. Os aposentos a maioria decorados com ouro e mármore deixa qualquer um de queixo caído, principalmente um dos  mais célebres a Sala dos Espelhos, emoldurada por 375 espelhos, onde em 1919 foi assinado o Tratado de Versailles, findando a 1a. Guerra Mundial. O palácio fica aberto o ano inteiro das 9h às 17h. Ingresso 18€. GRATUITO no primeiro domingo dos meses de novembro a março.
3. JARDINS:
Se puder visite na primavera estes exuberantes jardins famosos no mundo inteiro, com milhares de flores, cores e perfumes enfeitando imponentes esculturas espalhadas ao som de música clássica da época, uma verdadeira viagem a um passado de luxo e poder.

GIVERNY:
1. QUANDO VISITAR:
Somente entre os  meses de abril a outubro das 9:30h às 18h.
2. COMO CHEGAR:
Distante 50 minutos de trem RER pegando na estação St. Lazare em Paris, descendo na estação Vernon, e de lá um ônibus para Giverny.
3. ONDE FICAR:
O charme é ficar no gracioso vilarejo de Giverny com 550 habitantes que abriga a aconchegante pousada JARDIM D'EDEN, Rue Mellieu, 8, com preço bacana e delicioso "petit déjeuner" por 7€, um café da manhã com queijos e pães franceses dispensa qualquer comentário.
4. A CASA DO PINTOR:
Em 1883 Claude Monet (1840-1926) comprou esta graciosa casa, e nela morou até a sua morte, percorrendo os cômodos o maior encantamento é o seu ateliê iluminado pelas janelas generosas, com muitas reproduções nas paredes da sua maior inspiração, seu jardim.
5. O JARDIM DO JARDINEIRO:
Ali ele planejou e plantou seu magnífico jardim,  começou a cultivar seus lírios no lago em 1890, quando construi a ponte em estilo japonês do famoso Jardim Japonês, há também o belo jardim das flores Clos Normand, onde durante os anos ali vividos pelo maior pintor do impressionismo toda a criação foi inspiração.

Spring in Europe is the best season to enjoy its gardens, and if you are in Paris don't miss to visit that 2 unmissable gardens. Take a note of the following tips to enjoy the gardens of the Palace of Versailles and the garden of Monet in Giverny:

VERSAILLES:
1. HOW TO ARRIVE:
So easy to get there by train, taking the RER C line (yellow) with connections in some subway stations in Paris,    after 45 minutes to arrive in the Versailles Chateau River Gauche, or by taxi or uber.
2. PALACE:
An enchanted place where lived the Luis 14th (1638-1715) the King Sun, built in 1660 in a luxury French baroque architecture, with a total area including the gardens of 8 square kilometers. In 1837 the palace became a France History Museum, and was listed as World Heritage by UNESCO in 1979. Most of the magnificent rooms were decorated with gold and marble, pay attention in the "Mirrors Room" framed with 375 mirrors, where in 1919 was signed there the Treaty of Versailles, ending the World War 1. The palace opens year round from 9am to 5pm. Tickets 18€. FREE on the first Sunday of November to March.
3. GARDENS:
Try to visit in the spring with thousands of blooming flowers, colors and scents decorating imposing esculptures surrounded by classic music, an unforgettable trip to a historical past of luxury and power.

GIVERNY:
1. WHEN TO VISIT:
Between the months of April to October only, from 9:30am to 6pm.
2. HOW TO ARRIVE:
Distant 50 minutes by RER train, board on the Saint Lazare station in Paris, getting off in Vernon station and taking a bus to Giverny.
3. WHERE TO STAY:
Is good to stay in the gorgeous little village of Giverny with 550 inhabitants, housing the cosy JARDIM D'EDEN bed & breakfast, 8, Rue Mellieu, good rate and delicious "petit déjeuner" for 7€, no comments for any breakfast serving the French breads and cheeses.
4. THE PAINTERS HOUSE:
In 1883 Claude Monet (1840-1926) bought this gorgeous house, and it remained his base for the rest of his life, strolling by its rooms, the great enchantment is his atelier lit by the large windows, with many of his panting reproductions hung in the walls, which came from his biggest inspiration, his garden.
5. THE GARDENER'S GARDEN:
There he planned and grew his magnificent garden, he began creating a water garden in1890, made a pond and built a Japanese-style bridge over it, and began growing waterlilies in the pond, there is also the pretty Clos Normand garden of flowers, where  the many years lived there by the greatest impressionist painter, all of his creation was his inspiration.
