Outono e inverno são as melhores estações para visitar a região, pois além de evitar os períodos chuvosos, o clima friozinho de serra têm tudo a ver com o local.

3. ONDE FICAR:

Já na cidade os ateliês de cerâmica artística são imperdíveis, não deixe de visitar o SUENAGA JARDINEIRO, Rua Paulo Jarbas da Silva, 150, aonde há mais 34 anos a ceramista japonesa Kimiko Suenaga modela suas espetaculares peças e que terá sua próxima Abertura de Fornada Noborigama, que poderá ser vista pelos visitantes, dia 29 de junho, 2019, às 10, 12, 14 e 16h. Aberto diariamente das 9h às 18h.

6. CACHOEIRAS:
Para os amantes de trilhas e cachoeiras, têm as CACHOEIRAS DO PIMENTA e a DESTERRO distante 10km do centro em estrada de terra.

7. RESTAURANTES:
No CASARÃO, Praça Cônego Siqueira, 117, Centro, um ótimo self-service com preço bacana e sobremesa incluida; já no imperdível DRÃO ATELIÊ E RESTAURANTE, Alameda Lavapés, 560, Vila Rica, a gastronomia é impecável  num casarão lindo e bem decorado; e para os fans das pizzas a pedida é a ótima TJ PIZZARIA, Rua Casemiro da Rocha, 82; e para os amantes dos doces caseiros a DOCERIA DA CIDINHA, Praça Cônego Siqueira, 129, Centro, não têm jeito, entre nesta gracinha de ambiente e esqueça a dieta.

8: FESTA DO PINHÃO:
Na sua 19a. edição é um evento bacana com muitas barraquinhas servindo até o que você não imagina preparado com pinhão (espécie de castanha portuguesa cozida), como cocada e pizza. A festa acontece somente aos finais de semana, ocorrendo até domingo 12 de maio de 2019, na Praça Cônego Siqueira, Centro, com shows de violeiros.

1. HOW TO ARRIVE:
From Rio take the Via Dutra road and in the exit. 65 take the Rodovia SP-171, and drive 40km to arrive in Cunha.

Fall and winter are the best seasons to visit this region, besides avoiding the rainy season the chilly weather is so good in the mountains region.

4. LAVENDER FIELD:
Plenty of attractions on the Cunha-Paraty road like the pretty LAVENDER FIELD OF CUNHA, km 54, with 2 hectares of scented fields of the lavender and rosemary plantations, also visit the store selling home and beauty products, and in the Café taste the delicious rosemary ice cream, and if you can don't miss the sunset. Opens Saturdays and Sunday from 10am to 5pm. Tickets R$10,00 Reais.

5. POTTERY:
In this city the pottery workshops are unmissable, don't miss to visit the SUENAGA & JARDINEIRO WORKSHOP, where for more than 34 years the Japanese pottery maker Kimiko Suenaga models her spectacular pieces, and will have the next Noborigama Opening Oven on June 29th, 2019, at 10am, noon,  which could be seen by the visitors. Open daily from 9am to 6pm.

7. WATERFALLS:
For the trails and waterfalls lovers there are the PIMENTA and DESTERRO waterfalls, distant about 10km from downtow on a non-paved road.

The CASARÄO serving a very good self-service with a good price and dessert included; the unmissable DRÅO ATELIE RESTAURANT serves an untouchable gastronomy in a well decorated big house; for the pizzas fans the TJ PIZZARIA is excelled; and for the homemade sweets lovers the DOCERIA CIDINHA, forget your diet in this pretty cosy place.

8. PINHÃO PARTY:
In its 19th edition is a nice event serving  everything prepared with "pinhão", a kind of a Portuguese cooked nuts, the party happens on the Praça Conego Siqueira, Downtown, with guitar players shows, only at the weekends, finishing on Sunday, May 12th, 2019.
